The weekend is approaching. That anxious feeling of not knowing what to do is on its way, too.

You could party all night in some club in Paceville, you could stay up all night binge-watching shows on Netflix while eating junk food on your couch… or you could do yourself a favour and save this date: 7th October, 2017

Notte Bianca is Malta’s biggest annual arts and culture festival. From 19.00 to late at night Valletta, from City Gate to Fort St. Elmo, will be inundated with all kinds of artists and shows, even museums and state palaces will be open for this huge celebration, completely free of charge.

During the night, Kopin will showcase the work in the courtyard of the Presidents Palace. We will focus on work we’ve done in the arts field and promote some of our current projects.

Two books from the Bodyless project will be presented:

“Never Arrive”, the first autobiographical book written by a LGBTQI unaccompanied minor refugee, and “Iswed Assolut”, a Maltese poetry book by Glen Calleja tackling migration issues.

Kopin will be also informing about the upcoming SUSY Market Day on the 22nd October, whose aim is to promote a sustainable economic system and give a voice to social enterprises in Malta.

One of the main topic for this night will be raising awareness on the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and on issues related to food waste and organic produce. To do so, Kopin’s Team will involve people with interactive activities and app to download.

There will also be some free goodies made by Prints of Wales to win.

You don’t want to miss it!
